I'm wading through the Visa application process for going to Oz and for those who have done this before how can I get documents certified? The Visa & Immigration site isn't particularly clear so ....help!

you need a solicitor to certify them

take the original and a photocopy, they certify the copy

I think you need 2 of each

we used a notary public - if you do a search you can find one - bit cheaper than a solicitor.

Call around tho, some solicitors wanted 7gbp per page. With 3 of us we had around 40 odd pages. I managed to find one that did all our docs for 10gbp.

Our Natwest bank manager did them for free
