We are currently on the move and discussing two distinct options - Lyon or Barcelona. I have 3 children aged 12, 10 and 8 and schools will be covered by my husbands job - the rest is up to us. We are struggling to decide which city would be better for our family. Its a long term move so while the weather in Barcelona is very appealing we all speak some French and the culture there is potentially more appealing.
Looking at schools Lyon seems to have a nice bi-lingual school (CSI) and a typical International school ISL. Barcelona on the other hand has heaps of international schools mainly American it seems and the British school (which I must say I liked the look of!) seems to be 25k outside Barcelona.
I would appreciate any feedback on living in either city. I feel priveleged to have the problem of picking as both are super options but in some ways it causing more challenges!! Thanks
