Hi everyone!!
We are thinking of moving to Beijing for my husband's job - we will be taking our 7 year old boy and 5 month old daughter (they will be a few months older by the time we move)...We will be moving from Amersham, Buckinghamshire UK.
My husband's job is in the Chaoyong Park district but I want to live in suburban Yosemite area as it's not too far from his work and also really close to British International School of Beijing (which I hope he can get a place in)... does anyone who is living in Beijing or has lived in Beijing have any advice/tips/comments for us?? what is it like for Brits out in Beijing? Is it easy to connect and make friends? How bad are the winters? Is it easy/cheap to get a cleaner and/or driver? Any comments/advice welcome ... I want to know ALL points of view of fellow expat Brits in Beijing!!
