Hi all,

DH and myself have just come back from NZ. we went out for DH job interview, which he has been offered. We now have to sort out Visa applications etc - does aanyone know what the medical fees are and is there a variation? we also have 3 children to organise!

Congrats. Where are you moving to? There are quite a few of us here now. I can't help with visa info as I didn't do mine until I was here so all in NZ$.

we are moving to wellington area. I expect we will settle in the hutt valley - but in the hills as DH job is in Lower hutt.
His employeer are accredited and have said he will come in on a talant visa and i will accompany on a work visa and kids on student visas.

I just need to check all this with immigration and get the medicals done - but our first quote for these seamed very steep!
£295 each plus £55 for the children!

is this about right or are we being ripped off?
I know we have to use a panel dr - do they all charge the same fee?
