Anyone living near Elche/Alicante area?

Been here for four months now and feeling a bit lonely and missing home. Would love to hear from anyone living in this area.

I´m in the North Costa Blanca expat, Marina Alta area but I suggest you search for local FB groups, there are lots of them, both general and very localised, and you will find lots of people in the same boat. Just join the groups and lurk for a while; you will soon find out which ones to steer clear of. I run a Group local to our town, posting about what is happening in the town, and where people can ask for information and help. A post from a young Mum looking for a play group for her toddler, or a singleton looking for a group of people to go hill walking or dancing with gets lots of helpful responses, and I have got lots of members together by just saying "I'll be in such and such a cafe from 10-11 on Friday, come and say hello and meet some new people."
