Car Insurance

Hi,
I would like to know what is the best car insurance available for an expat in the UK. I am Australian who has lived in Hong Kong & Singapore of the last 8 years. I had a vehicle plus insurance in HK for 4 years, however the last 4 years I chose not to own a car in Singapore. Prior to that I have had my Australian drivers licence since 1982.
Any assistance or the best way to get competitive quotes would be helpful.
Thank you in advance.

Confused.com will give you the option to say you have an Australian licence. You may well not get many quotes, but they will look at the big insurers for you. It's probably going to be expensive. Exchange to a UK licence, and get 12 no the non claims bonus for renewal in 12 months, and it will be significantly cheaper next time round.

If you haven't already sorted it, you need a specialist expat insurance broker. So much cheaper than anything you can get online.
