Malta - independent primary schools feedback pls

We have been homeschooling elsewhere, but now look to be moving to Malta in probably January (likely to be based tigne point). I have an 8 year old (who will be 9 by january) who has mild aspergers and a 5 year old. Aspergers has only been diagnosed this week so we are on a learning curve as to what to specifically look for in a school for him.

Can anyone give me any feedback, please, as to schools? We've spent about 6 weeks in malta before, but weren't thinking about schools at the time. I'm guessing we are going to need to get onto waiting lists asap, but not sure where might be suitable just yet..

I think your first move is to contact the independent schools to check availability as the demand for independent schools is quite high in Malta.

Do you need names of schools?

Thank you .. i've been in touch with them all (except the russian school), 8 schools so far as i can tell. Chiswick has space in one year, which would put my other son at the top of the waiting list; QSI has space for both kids (but might be too far from tigne point, where we are planning to look for a home, given malta traffic?), and the others i am yet to hear back from as they're not answering phones (school hols, i guess). I'd love to see the schools and get a feel for them, but i don't think we'll be in malta until school starts, so that makes it a bit more difficult. I also get the impression some of the schools are a bit hard to get hold of, but worth perserving. It's also hard to tell whether schools which have availability are just not popular because of a specific reason, or it's just luck!
