I just need to vent really - we are at the time of year when our one year rolling contract is up for renewal. I know it goes with the territory but I can feel the stress levels rising in both of us as we have to consider whether it'll be approved or not.
This wasn't so bad when we were childless or when the children were younger but there's so much more at stake now. Company HR are notoriously drippy and last minute and as you are an expat you take the money and put up with it I know but I still get hugely frustrated at the lack of humanity shown, it doesn't even seem to be taken into consideration. We are so very lucky in so many ways but this.... argh, thanks for listening.
