Calling those living in NZ

We arrive in Auckland in 3 weeks for our reccie holiday, can you tell me what the weather is doing and what best to bring clothes-wise.
Also, DH has some interviews lined up is it acceptable to wear jacket, shirt and trousers rather than a suit?

Hi again Auckland weather is known to be psycho ie.e 4 seasons in 1 day. It won't be cold but you should bring a fleece or 1 light weight jacket (preferably water proof) nobody carries umbrellas. Feb Mar are our best months so unless we have freak weather (and it does happen) it should be beautiful sunny days iwth the odd cloud. Fortunately it's rained overnight of late. That concludes the weather report.
Re interview it's very casual here. DH turned up in a suit and felt uncomfortable for his interview. Smart/casual is IMO the way to go unless of course he's a top notch lawyer or something similar!!

sure am, looking forward to it. am off to Sydney with ghosty and others this weekend, 3 child free nights, my first since we arrived here 4 and a half years ago. To say I'm excited is the understatement of the century. Of course I'll miss them but the thought of sitting eating a meal with a glass (or two) of wine without getting up between every mouthful to do something is just too much. Am hoping to fit some shopping in too before we catch the plane back on Sunday. Oh, and the call to come dance to the wiggles next door has made me think, maybe I can go dancing to something other than hi 5 or the wiggles

Oh you will have such a great time. I have never had an overnighter without the kids either (but have a mad long weekend planned in Portugual in June). I have been led astray from the mums that seem to have been having weekends away since giving birth!!!

Well I can't wait to hear all about it - should we cat each other (although, I don't actually know what that means or how to do it). and exchange details etc?
