Renewing Drivers licence

what is the procedure to renew my UK drivers licence? what are the papers I need to send to the DVLA?

If you are living overseas then you shouldn't be renewing your UK licence you should be getting one from your country of residence.

but yes, you need to be a resident of Great Britain.

thanks for the replies, I spend most of my time in the UK, i have a UK address, and I don't have a driving licence from any other countries. Many might think whether I am insured... I always rent a car, I don't think I will have any issues in renewing my licence.
