Moving from Brussels to Reunion Island. Anyone else done the move to Reunion?

Hello,
We are planning on relocating to Reunion Island (husband and 2 kids aged 8 and 5).
We don't have a job there but our project would be to open a B&B.
Are we crazy about this move? I'm still having loads of questions. The reason why we are planning this move is to be nearer the family, and for the girls to grow up on the Island with no stress of the busy Brussels life.
Anyone else had done a similar move or is in Reunion Island and can give us some advise?

If your family are on Reunion, then it would make sense.
I only know one other person who did such a radical move, but he married someone from Ascension island. They didn't move back until he got headship of the secondary school there though and I'm sure the family waited a few years to have that job security.
If you have family, you should cherish it. I have no family and it's a lonely life I will make sure my own kids won't have when they are parents. I would think as long as you have some money / job, it should be a wonderful decision.
