Moving tomorrow and need packing advice

Moving abroad with under 5's - What is the one thing you would recommend not leaving without??

Jars of pesto :o?

iPads, kid-safe headphones, swimsuits and swim goggles (if going somewhere warm). Uno cards or similar small games. Snacks for the first few days until you find a supermarket.

Good shoes

Pictures of family that you can put on the wall. Have them on your phone and go into a place and print them out when you get there. Less to carry.

Snacks, snacks and snacks. If any in diapers, diaper cream (that yellow stuff in the UK is amazing unless you are coming to the US and triple paste is nuclear on diaper rash for those 6+ months).

Finally buy about 10 plug adaptors in the UK before you leave. You always lose them and you can't buy ones that convert UK plugs into foreign plug holes once you leave the country unless you are willing to wait for Amazon to deliver. I say buy 10 because you can never find one when you need it.

Plan ahead

Passports
Yes yes yes to adaptors (transformers if voltage isn't 220V). Consider one European plug on the end of a UK power bar. Great for everything that needs charging.
Carseats
Toothpaste, tampons, as much prescription medicines as the GP will let you have (probably too late for this now!), Something for the kids to do when you get there, I bring shampoo, trousers and bras to the ME.
And tonnes of patience!!

As much English chocolate as you can carry. I live in the US and always stock up when going through Duty Free.

Tampons were a good shout, it could have gone horribly wrong today!
