Does anyone want to write about schools in the Paris area?

Is anyone in the Paris area interested in working for the Good Schools Guide International as their Paris/Ile de France editor? I have been looking for someone to replace me, and my lovely boss is getting a bit desperate.

A job that gives professional satisfaction if not loads of dosh, it has been a pleasure working for them and I feel terrible leaving them in the lurch, but I just don't have any time left from my other job.

Please PM me if interested, or if you may know of someone who may be!

Have you asked on Message?

TBH I think you need more than one person to cover Paris and its surrounding area effectively. There are so many perspectives to consider and the international/bilingual offerings have subtle differences that evolve quite fast and are hard for a single researcher/writer to keep up with. I have given up on schools now i.e. we are going to stick with our tried-and-trusted 7eme Catholic option for DD, given that it served its purpose so well for the DSSs.

Maybe one of the English teachers who has worked in more than one of the Anglophone/bilingual schools? Some of them are young, well-networked and building their careers.

Thanks! Yes I pointed my boss to Message, and I am pretty sure she has gone on there to advertise.

The suggestion of an English teacher is brilliant. I will put out some more feelers in that direction.

Thanks, Bobo.

Maybe your boss could try contacting ELSA? They seem quite keen to promote Anglophone education in France in any shape or form.
