im new! anyone living near Celle, germany?

hiya, wanted to say hello and meet some new people to talk to. i have an 8 month old son and moved from england to germany a year and half ago. Anyone else moved to germany?

I think Celle is north or north west of Berlin. Not sur eif it was old east Germany or west - unbelievable after so many years of unification but that still seems to make a difference!

I am german and used to live in Celle, which is where I met my dh (he is iin the Armed Forces)....love Celle so muhc, really miss it, even though I only lived there for less then 2 years.
How are you liking it?

Celle isn't far from Hanover, which might give you an idea

Really like living in germany. had my ds out here and the hospital was brill. our nearest shopping place is celle but we dont actually live there. my dh is in the armed forces too so thats why we chose to come to germany

I'm in Berlin and dd is 6. She was born here. There are quite a few of us on MN.

Celle is a beautyful lil town, with a lot of charm I think....all those gorgeous lil old houses in town, etc....
!
Before Celle I used to live for a few years in Hanover (did my Nursing training and then worked there for a few years after), whilest there I met my Ex Boyfriend who was in Bergen, to be nearer to him I moved to Celle, but we split and I met my dh (and thank god I did)
Still have friends in and near Celle, and we are hoping to either visit them this summer or next year sometime Can't wait
I used to work in the Allgemeines Krankenhaus Celle (AKH Celle)

i had my ds in hanover and we live in Bergen. the christmas market in celle is lovely and the castle too

there are lots of forces wags on here (search under any other forces wives out there) and you will see a multitude of us - I'm sure there are some near Celle
