Germany: Child Custody Advice Needed

Can anyone suggest an independent group in Germany that can advise in matters of child custody? Am trying to find some additional help for unmarried (German) friend in Germany whose ex-partner is exerting control over where she should live with their child.
My friend has just relocated within Germany and has found a new job, home (with grandmother) and made childcare arrangements. Now partner (who contributes nothing to child's upkeep) has apparently got court to force her to move back to city where both lived.
She's got some legal advice, but any additional sources of support welcomed.

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know. I hope someone else does. If your friend was never married to this man, surely she has the alleinige Sorgerecht, which as I understand it, means that he has essentially no say in such a matter, so I do find the situation odd. In her shoes ,would definitely contest the court decision. This may be different if they were married at the time the dc was born though. I don't see how he can prevent her moving town so long as she is still in Germany.

Perhaps the Frauenbeautragte is a good starting point or the Jugendamt but no doubt she has already been there.
