Hi Pruni
We are visiting too but unfortunately during Easter, otherwise we could have met up. The NZ mums have been great on here and I am sure will welcome you with open arms as soon as they wake!

sibble · 07/02/2007 01:35

I'll be here. We live 20 mins (ish) south of Auckland and would LOVE to meet up. I have a 2.5 and 7 year old. Depending on where you end up there are heaps of places we could take them for a run. Where will your DH be working and any ideas where you will be staying yet? I freelance for the Uni (medical research) and glaze over when we have to start talking stats btw! Stats free meet up.
You can email me on karenhcarter at hotmail dot com if you want.

I hopefully won't be here .... but will be happy to meet up with you Pruni if I am
Waiting to move to Melbourne (still not gone yet ... is taking forever and is doing my head in) and hopefully will be gone by May (nothing personal I promise )
I will verify that sibble is lovely and well worth meeting - we are good friends and met through Mumsnet! ....

farawaytree, I may be here still at Easter so do contact me if you want to meet up

Ghosty - you will be moving to Melbourne just in time to move back at this rate!

ghosty · 07/02/2007 06:25

Tell me about it nearly4bob .... as the kiwis would say, "I am over it!"
[grrr]

Thanks Ghosty - both you and Sibble can expect to hear from me soon - DH is about to send off his CV to various companies and see if he can get any meetings set up during that time. So we can see what sort of response we get from that.

There is a programme on Sky at the moment that called the 'Filth Files' which isn't helping paint a nice picture of Auckland take-away's. Have you see it?
