where to start?? emigrating to oz

Hello,

we have decided to emigrate to australia, we have been on holiday and loved it, and we are going again later this year for another 3 weeks. My sil and bil emigrated last year so as soon as they get citizenship they are able to sponser us.
I have tried googling but there is so many websites that come up i dont know where to start, any ideas anyone??

Find out what visa is applicable to you. Contact DIAC - (Department of Immigartion and Citizenship) for the relevnat form etc.

It can be confusing tho, so if you feel you want to talk to an immigration agent, ours was fab. Would be happy to pass on his number, he is in London, so no worrying about time zones etc.

As far as I know, your friends have to have permanent residency to aplly for citizenship. They have to be permanent residents for 2 years before applying for it.
