Moving to Brussels; looking for a school

Oops. New here. I think I just posted my question in the wrong area. Sorry for the double post. Here it is again.

So happy to have found this page! I am overwhelmed right now and would really appreciate some feedback.
My husband most likely will be getting a job offer in Brussels. Beginning in 2017.
We will have our housing paid for and won’t know until next year what area it is. But he will be working in Brussels.
Schooling is paid for by my husbands job. We have our choice of any of the International Schools. I don’t even know where to look. Can somebody steer me in the right direction?
My kids will be 10, 11, and 12 years old when we move. I really don’t know what I’m looking for in these schools. We are from the US and they only know English.
I would love to hear from somebody who has relocated their family from the US to Brussels. We have never moved before and there are so many things that make me nervous (yet excited) about this move. I would love to hear any tips!
Thank you!

Will post some links later. Most of the Americans I know use ISB, but there is also St John's at Waterloo which is a U.S. curriculum as is ISB.

There's also the American School in Sterrebeek.

Isn't the American school mainly targeted at US DoD kids though?

Okkitokkiunga · 31/08/2016 21:26

Scary you are right. I forgot that in my excitement of being helpful.

Usa is 3rd biggest nationality after British and Belgian at bsb. Almost 10 per cent.

The Americans I know are going back Stateside, or their kids will, so use ISB or the one at Sterrebeek.
