Sydney meet up time again?

OK, I know it's halfway through the holidays so a bit late for this holiday - but it's been a while so who wants to do a catch up? Probably without sprogs but I'm open to suggestions!

I'll start the bidding with any Sunday after this weekend coming would probably be ok!

I'm in. I think I'm free most Sundays. Although currently stranded in Hobart due to massive delays on the inbound aircraft. Might have to start a Tassie MNers group if I'm here much longer 😂

I would love to be involved in a get together! Off to the UK this weekend for a week though (I know, right?) so next Sunday no good for me. My sis then arrives for a few weeks so I'm not sure I'm a good bet!!!

Don't worry, MrsDe - it usually takes us a few weeks to get co-ordinated!

Of course not, elderberries! Keep an eye on this thread and this board, and if the date changes to when you're here, then of course you're welcome to come along! We usually manage one or 2 meet-ups per year, so even if you do miss this one, we'll be around again soon enough :)

Thanks Thumb! I'm in North Lambton at the mo. Doing a big drive around for 6 months then heading for Sydney for a bit. Only here for a year initially - DP is central coast raised and living in London. We hope to be here in the future depending on how this year goes!

OK then - so 21st August - usual meeting time is around 12:30 (mostly to accommodate me and trains!) and we just need to decide a venue. Too cold for the Opera Bar (a favourite), and possibly even the Helm Bar, depending on how busy it is - any ideas? Try the Belgian beer café again? or somewhere else?

Hi that's a deffo from me Belgian beer cafe I can rock up at 12 it was nice and quiet if I recall but I can set up camp in obvious vicinity of the door and shall have my rugby winning St George mug on the table
