Just thought I would ask, I know Australia is big, phew just as well given the amount of people moving, myself included.

Lol....where abouts are you coming to?

belgianmama · 19/01/2007 23:33

Well euhm, I'm sure there'll be plenty of eastern european/african/asian volunteers to fill up the country again once all the british have escaped to a better life in OZ or NZ for that matter.

Sandcastles, going to Brissy with everyone else it seems, just like us to pick the most popular place to move to. We did consider Perth as we have a few friends there, but much prefer the East coast, sorry if that offends anyone from Perth, and also other friends are moving there to next year.

curiously Perth is now becoming one of the most expensive places to live - especially in terms of real estate according to a recent study.

giggly, it is popular. We are in Adelaide. That's where dh's family is, so only done we should come here.

humpydumpy · 23/01/2007 07:45

I have been out in Perth 1 year tomorrow and it's the best thing I could have done. Have just had my sis over and have been trying to persuade her to make the move. I managed to convince her boyfriend, so nearly there. Have got some friends coming in a couple of weeks too, so will work on them.
