Moving to Hong Kong, Discovery Bay

DH, DS (12) and I are moving in July from Jersey. Any tips on how to settle quickly and meet new people? Excited but also nervous.

There's a DB moms facebook page as well as a HK moms pages. Both very active!

Don't worry, DB is quite a welcoming community. Introduce yourself on the FB page and ask if anyone from your son's school is around for a meetup.
Lots of families go away for the summer but schools start early ( mid august) so people start heading back first week.
HK & DB is really safe as it is pretty contained. At 12 i expect he can walk around independently and meet up other kids around the plaza or clubhouse.
The weather should be great too and kids that are around will spend hours around the pool/beach.
