We are thinking of moving to Holland and I could do with reading up in advance about childcare, schools, babysitters, feeding etc.

This site has been an invaluable help to me getting ahead with a baby where I live now, and if there's a Dutch site of similar amazingness then I'd love to know! X

The Amsterdam Mamas Facebook group should have everything you need. There is a website too, but the chat is on Facebook. There are Dutch parenting sites like Mumsnet, but unless you are already fluent in Dutch AM will be much better for you.

Have you tried in the Living Overseas topic und Homes and Gardens heading I think?

Soloman thank you - the only glitch is that the intended location won't be Amsterdam (but in the Randstad). But I'll see what folk are saying on there nonetheless

I'm not in Amsterdam either, lots of people on there aren't!

You could try the expatica site. That was quite helpful just before we moved.
Or the overseas bit on here, where there are a few of us Dutch living MNetters.
