Ok I won't have hours to spend trawling the aisles of the supermarket.

What are the best brands for the basics like:

Washing Powder
Softener
Loo Roll
Shampoo
Sunscreen

Can you buy L'Oreal and Paul Mitchell hair products in Sydney?

Thank you!

Washing Powder - I use Bio Zet 2 in 1
Softener - Cuddly or Fluffy
Loo Roll - Quilton or Kleenex
Shampoo - I use OC (organic care) as I don't need fancy shampoo, but you can get many brands that are available in the UK
Sunscreen - UV tripleaction

know you can get l'oreal products here in Brissy so I assume get them in Sydney - don't know about Paul Mitchell although it seems familiar so perhaps.

You can get L'Oreal in supermarket, although depends which one i.e. Cole/Woolies and how big it is. I'd get Omo sensitive or Drive for washing powder, don't use softener, Kleenex Cottonelle for loo paper, Herbal Essences for shampoo (if haven't spent up at Aveda for fancy icelandic stuff) and Hamilton sunscreen or better still Cancer Council stuff from Cancer Council shop (most big malls - definitely one at Chatswood).
