International schools in Muscat

We are looking at a potential move to Muscat for work with 3 dc 6,4 and 16mo. We really want the older two to be in a truly 'international' school i.e not one full of wealthy local students. Does anyone have any recommendations for schools with a mixed student body? Thanks in advance

I teach in Muscat.

There are 3 truly International schools:

The American School in Muscat (TASIM) This school caters for international students who are aiming to go to Uni in the States. It is very well resourced I think.

The British School of Muscat (BSM ) Caters for those families who wll be dipping in and out of the Nat. Cur. for England and Wales

The ABA is an IB school, from P1, to leaving at G12. This will suit those families who maybe swapping from one country to another, and want to maintain some sort of curriculum stability.

Please PM me if you have any other questions

I went to ABA, albeit 15 years ago. Loved it and got into uk uni with no issues with IB before it was really recognised here.
