Moving to Florida, advice please?

Hi all, name changed for this as quite identifying but could do with some opinions and advice please.

DH has been offered the chance to apply for a job in Florida (we live in UK currently). We are undecided if this is a move we want to make. can anyone who has moved there/who lives there give me an honest opinion? We have 2 DC who will be primary schooled there so interested in schools, areas to live etc. Job is in Dunedin so somewhere commutable to there. Is it very expensive generally? Good standard of living etc?

Sounds naive to canvass opinion on here I know, but is very early days for a decision and obviously will be doing our own research but interested to hear any thoughts.

The best advice I can give you is that you will need help in a different country.

I would want to know about health provision if I was moving anywhere in the USA!
