Anyone in Angola or know anything about living there? DH has been offered a three month post and we're really considering taking it, because it's only three months. We'll be travelling with a three year old and five year old. The company are paying for accomodation and a driver. We're not going to bother with schools as we'll be coming back in three months anyway. But any useful tips or contacts or just things to do with two boys all day?

The only thing I know about Angola is it is ludricrously expensive, so you need to be on a seriously good package. (think 10 pounds for a can of beans type expensive)
In addition to accommodation and Driver, make sure your medical cover is very good (inc evacuation if required).

There is a Facebook group you might get useful information from :

Thanks the facebook link is great. I've heard about the eye watering prices but also that if you know how to haggle you can get things a bit cheaper or at local prices. We're pretty good at haggling and both speak the lingo so hopefully we can shop around! Thank you for replying, I thought it might be a tumbleweed thread, as they often are in this section but it was worth a try.
