Finding a home in Paris

DH has been shortlisted for a job in Paris. I am trying to get an idea of what we could afford to rent there if he gets the job. Can anyone recommend good Parisian rental websites? Also what neighbourhood would we need to live in to be near international schools?

Many thanks

I don't know the best rental site (sorry) but if you put "paris, international schools" into google maps you come up with them all - and a map showing you where they are located. Which is a start.

Seloger and leboncoin are best websites. The ISP is in the 16th. BSP, ASP western suburbs. Bilingual schools dotted around intra-muros, 8th, 15th,16th especially.

If you google Paris international schools there are lots of lists. Also, remember when you are looking that you really don't have to be that close to the school. DS goes to EIB Monceau but will live in the 15th (near Montparnasse) and it only takes 20 minutes on the metro. If the area near school isn't affordable it is not always difficult to travel.

Where is your DH's future office? Living near both work and school is often possible and desirable in Paris.
