Anyone in Singapore? Fancy a holiday in the UK next summer?

Hi all, not sure whether to post this in travel but thought it might be seen more easily here. We used to live in Singapore (there for 8 years, both DD's born there) and would love to return for a holiday next summer so the girls can see it as we haven't been back since we left in 2007. If there are any expats who would be interested in a home swop or if you know anyone who might, please let me know. We have a comfortable 4 bed house in the Cotswolds, very good location. Dates flexible so long as it is in UK school hols. Thanks!

Try posting on the Singapore Expat Wives group on facebook. Homeexchange is a site we have used for a Scotland / Denmark swap that worked well... We lived in Singapore for about the same amount of time as you, left in 2013 and would love to go back but now live in Texas so it's a 24 hour trip for us. All the SG50 celebrations on fb have made me feel Singapore-sick!

Hi thanks, good idea. I still have some friends there and have emailed them, the main problem being that their school holidays don't coincide with ours. I looked at home exchange and thought it looked interesting so will give it a try. Thanks!

Hi, we love cats! We have one, a little black girl who is quite shy. Two DD's, aged nearly 14 and 11. They are nice girls! Our house is not big but is comfy, we are just about to have a new extension done which will create a nice big open plan kitchen diner. We have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, parking for two cars (could prob do car share as well). We are 5 mins walk to the centre of Bourton on the Water. Small garden but we have a trampoline. PM me if it sounds any good!

Singapore airlines just announced a huge sale on flights, think you have to travel before May 2016 but I can get from Houston to Singapore and back for $850, might be worth a look, so tempted to go back myself too much time on homeexchange looking at black and white houses
