Life Insurance (Middle East)

Do any of you have life insurance? How do you set about getting it? UK policies seem to require UK residence (fair enough). So do I set about trying to get some when in KSA. Or get DH to push his company to get me included??

Ours is through friends provident. Life insurance costs a bomb as an expat but it's perfectly possible to arrange.

If you haven't left UK yet apparently some policies don't mind if you move overseas provided you are resident when you take it out. That works out much cheaper but triple check the terms to make sure you're covered.

We use friends provident as well. Only need to tell them when you I've elsewhere so they can assess the risk and increase the premiums we pay about 170 per mth for. 2 separate policies, ( 1 each) enough to payoff the mortgages, give either of us 6-12mths breathing space and some for the DC uni fund
