Hi from Sydney

How sad am I! I've found an internet kiosk where we are staying so logged on to check my e-mail and thought I'd just have a look at mumsnet seeing as I'm here. Sydney is just as fab as I remember from 16 years ago, though I must admit the weather is a bit disappointing - they are going through an "unseasonably cold spell" and we've even had the odd shower!!!! Kids are loving it - I think I have them hooked - and DH has just gone for a discussion with his (hopefully) new boss. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I don't ever want to go home.

hi sunnydelight! glad you're enjoying Sydney. yeah, its a shame about the weather, but its meant to be a hot one this weekend - time to head to the beach. have fun finding out all the info you need for when you move here for good...

We did Bronte/Turamura/Bondi yesterday PPM, and it was truly wonderful. The sea pool at Bronte was a huge success. I don't think I'll make that coffee though I'm afraid, it's scary how fast the days are passing and we have lots to do. It's a reccy Suzywong, but that's not stopping us having a fab holiday!

Hi bloss. I feel like I've been really rude not getting in touch but it's really hard to work out from one day to the next what we're doing - DH ended up meeting up with an IT agency today who are possibly lining up interviews next week. He has the option of a transfer but his skills are highly in demand at the moment so we might do better elsewhere. We've now decided to do St. Ives from Palm Beach next week so I'll call you and see if we can orgnise something - I would still really like to meet you if possible.
