NSW people - hope you're all ok and not washed or blown away!

Just got back here to the worst weather for 8 years - floods, cyclonic winds and trees down all over the place! Schools have been closed due to power outage and appalling weather, a relief for DS1 as he was meant to go back to school today - but it's a bit shit!

We had such nice weather in the UK before we left as well...

Anyway, stay safe everyone x

It's horrible! We had no power from 8.30am until 11.30am. Luckily DS's school stayed open and I could go to work. I don't work in Sydney cbd so didn't have issues getting in or home, but friends have struggled getting ferries/buses with 3 hour commutes :-(

We're up just above Central Coast region - half our town and the schools have had no power all day, and are unlikely to get it back tonight, we've just found out. I'm lucky - still got power at home, unlike half my friends :(
