Storage costs

Hi, we are most likely going to Saudi Arabia for 2 years. Can
Anyone please give me an indication of cost of storage for furniture etc in the uk? We have contents of moderate sized 3 bed house. Thanks.

We have a storage unit and it costs us a £130 a month. It's a shipping container. We did the same as you and signed up for 2 years and we're just finishing our 3rd year and are not looking to come home anytime soon. So next time we are back we will have a cull and get a smaller unit.

We got quotes from £100-350 a month.

costs vary wildly depending on location. You must put stuff in a proper climate-controlled warehouse, a container will just wreck it because things get damp.

unless you have very valuable things, sell it all and refill on ebay on your return. Sweet-talk family and friends to put photos etc in their attics, or rent a small unit.
