If you have moved to a country where your language is not fluent, and you have found work, what do you do?

Well I'm back in the UK now but when I lived abroad, I did a CELTA course and became an ESOL teacher.

I lived in Azerbaijan for a while, wandered into a university, found their head of languages and walked out with a full time lecturing job. I had plenty of experience in tefl but I qualifications, guess it pays to be the only expat in the village sometimes....

Options appear to be teach your language, look for jobs in international companies that have a 'company language' the same as yours, offer child care in your native language, look for online jobs that are not location specific

I went the child care route as luckily there are plenty of parents who want their children looked after in English :-D
