Any Austrian mumsnetters around?

We have been skiing in Austria and whilst there got a parking ticket which I will need to pay. It has an IBAN number on the ticket and bank details but last time I did an IBAN bank transfer it cost £25 admin fee and the parking ticket is only 15 euros!

What is the easiest/ cheapest way for me to pay it? Should I send 15 euros in the post?

What about TransferWise? I use it to transfer money to my British bank account and it only costs a couple of pounds.

Not sure about sending the money in the post; the risk of sending cash in the post aside, I don't think they'd be set up for here, although you could always ask I suppose.

By when do you have to pay the fine?

I've just checked TransferWise; you'd only have to pay a £1 fee to transfer €15.

Thank you for replying! I think it's 2 weeks although I could be wrong as it was a long time ago when I studied german!

That sounds a lot cheaper, will google it. I need this like a hole in the head as am moving house Friday too!
