I have heard about the death of a friend I knew as an exchange student from Hamburg who changed my my life by direction of study. Her death was incredibly violent and I'm so shocked and desperately saddened by it. I want to write to her non English speaking parents but am afraid my rusty German won't express my condolences and feeling sufficiently. Is there anyone who could help me?
