Hi
We are moving from NZ and looking at schools. I have a 5 year old, currently in a Steiner school and a 15 month old. They have a Steiner school in Singapore but it's primary school is only a year old when/if he outgrows this school, I'm looking for alternatives. Gentle small schools and aren't academically rigid. Basically hippish pschools! Sorry I realise this sounds vague! We will be there for four years plus.

Thanks in advance

There are lots of alternative preschool especially Montessori and the blue house (Reggio Emilia) springs to mind but I don't know of any similar schools that take children past 6. Schooling in singapore is generally v traditional and rigid with rote learning and lots of conformity.... The international schools are positively alternative in comparison!
