London to LA Meet Up

seems to be a few of us on or near the Westside of LA who have hailed from London, fancy a meetup?

Monday or Friday mornings are generally good for me, I have DD who's nearly 3 with me and don't have to be anywhere until DS finishes school at 2:30pm.

Any takers?

I'm a taker for this Friday morning if people can make it. Am happy to host - we have a communal pool in our complex, with a barbecue next to it, so we could do pool / pot luck lunch and the kids could hang out. Because it's UCLA family housing, it's a good set up for a gaggle.

I'm a dickhead and forgot that I've got something on this friday already - could do next Monday or Friday though!

I'm easy, so whenever others can make.

Great. ATB and gracie, since you know the town, you want to work out a place? the only places I know are some dive bars in Culver City. Which are great, but more of a second date kind of evening

If we can pinpoint an area that is kind of midway for all of us that would be good. I will probably get an uber there and back so I can have a glass of wine.... I'm west hollywood, so near sunset strip, chateau marmont. I did go to a nice bar near the beverly centre not so long back, I think it was on third street, near Jones on third? It may be a bit far for everyone?

Bit of a trek to Chateau Marmont from Mar Vista/Culver if we uber or lyft but maybe West LA/ this side of Beverly Hills/Westwood could work?
