Amsterdam - English-speaking preschool for just turned 4 year old?

We're moving to the Netherlands from Singapore (we're Australian) at the end of November and will be staying in Amsterdam for a few months until we find a permanent place to live (most likely Hilversum). My little boy turns 4 just after we arrive and we're looking at sending him to the international school in Hilversum. Our baby will only be 5 months then and I think he'll go crazy being with just the two of us for three months. My question is where do I send him while we're in Amsterdam for that short time? It looks like all preschools only take children up to 4. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not in Amsterdam, but am elsewhere in the Netherlands, and as far as I know no preschools will take children once they turn four. Can your DS not start school straight away? Are you on the Amsterdam Mamas group on Facebook? If there are any alternatives someone there will know!
