Moving to Groningen, Holland

Hi I am soon to relocate to Groningen due to my partners job. We have a 20 month old daughter & I am looking for things for us to do in the day - I wondered of anyone knows about mum & baby groups or baby swimming classes. I can't wait to be a full time mummy & just looking for some things to do to occupy our time & for her to mix with other children.

Hi, I'm in the UK not in Groningen but I'm Dutch (and thus Dutch speaking) so thought I'd do a bit of Googling for you with the advantage of native language - there are apparently baby swimming classes (website in Dutch is here, there is a phone number and an email address but it says the phone number isn't open during the school holidays - I'm not sure if that's started yet but email them if you don't get through).

Also, the Muziekschool apparently does toddler music groups, they'll have broken up for the summer I imagine but that might be fun come September?

Hi kazallen01, I have moved to drenthe (province next to Groningen) after living in Australia last year and venlo the year before that. We are hoping to buy somewhere in assen so only 20mins from Groningen. I have a 4yr old and 2yr old. The Amsterdam mamas page on fb is really handy for all things that affect Dutch mamas and if you do a shoutout on there you may find some interesting things to do with your dd in Groningen!
