Pregnancy travel insurance for the UK

I'm a British citizen and have been living abroad for about 8 years. In that time I haven't made any NI contributions, so I wouldn't be entitled to free NHS care when I go back to the UK.
In the Summer I'll be going back for just under 2 weeks. Usually I don't bother with insurance, but I'll be 32-34 weeks pregnant. Hopefully I'll be fine, but if something does happen I'd like to be prepared with insurance to cover any pregnancy health problems, labour and delivery and any post-natal care for me and baby.
I have plenty of family in the UK, so I'm not worried about any other aspect of traveling at such a late stage of pregnancy, just the financial.
I wonder if anyone has any insurance recommendations, or advice/experience?

Many travel insurance policies cover uncomplicated pregnancies under 36 weeks - have to checked the terms of the policy you would normally buy?

Sorry, I've just reread and seen you do not usualy buy travel insurance at all.

Have you googled what's on offer in your usual location?

BTW it is not NI contributions that decide NHS eligibility, it is residency. As you are only visiting, that is what makes you ineligible. Maternity services are definitely chargeable for visitors.

yoiu need to get travel insurance to cover you as a resident of the country where you live. Hopefully not too tricky, although if you are flying you should also check with the airline.

I went back to the UK for a holiday when I was pregnant with twins in 2012. I remember being insured, but I can't remember which company it was. It was either Columbus or World Nomads...I always use them.

Perhaps I was overthinking things, I thought it might be more complicated being British but getting insurance for the UK for some reason.
