Can anyone recommend a shipping company from the US to the UK?

Does anyone know of a shipping company they'd recommend for moving lots of boxes back to the UK? We won't be shipping much in the way of furniture (a sideboard, a small rocking chair and rocking horse, and that's about it - all the rest of our stuff is Ikea and probably not worth moving!), but we have a fair amount of books (probably 20 boxes at last move), a couple of boxes of DD's toys, and some kitchen stuff, paperwork, knick-knacks and clothes.

Thanks and Cake for all suggestions! :)

We used Rainier from California to UK. We didn't need a whole container and ended up with one Lift van of boxes and bits (they are made of wood and they can fit a set number in each container. They were very nice and professional and the price wasn't as high as others we had quotes from.
www.rainieros.com/ they had good reviews on the sites we looked them up on including www.movingscam.com/

Thanks, Squinkies - that Movingscam site looks very helpful, too!

We used Sterling Relocation for our UK - NYC move. They chose a US company for the America bit, which was seamless as they managed all the communication with them so in effect we only had one company to deal with. They were great and I'm sure they move the other way too.

We are in the same position. Selling all our furniture, just boxes. We are using Upakweship. They are US based, and we are in Canada. Nice and cheap because you pack and load yourself. They can deliver a crate or pod to your front door. You load and they collect. Will save $$$!!

I do like the idea of saving money, but we're going to be out of the country for much of the summer, so I think that getting someone in to do most of the packing for us when we get back sound worth spending an extra few bob!
