Long shot but is anyone in All Ain? Interested in cost of living and school options.

Hi, I don't know much directly about Al Ain't, except to say it used to be where all the well off locals went for the summer, cool(er) mountain air.
Most expats seem to be employed in hospitals or education. Best suggestion is you check expatwoman.com and whatever the Abu Dhabi website is called, it's bound to come up on EW.
Regarding costs no idea, my only visits have been to Jabal Hafeet and Al Ain zoo. It's a quieter more laid back place than either AUH or DXB. There is an oasis in the centre of town and it's very old fashioned in parts, lovely place.

Have a look on Abu Dhabi Women forum as think there are some Al Ain people on it. On expatwoman you will find all the school details.
For sure if you are planning to move there, go and visit first. Very different from Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Thanks both. I'm actually already GCC based and have been to Al Ain (but only to the zoo) so I know its v different (that's the attraction!). Will try the suggested links.
