Auckland mums...shopping advice please

Just wondering if there are big big supermarkets...come across various countdowns but nothing 'huge'.
Also, is there an equivalent of target?

Hiya, nothing as big as Target in NZ. The closest would probably be one of the Warehouse Extras - but the grocery part of them is fairly basic. Otherwise supermarkets and other types of shop are kept fairly seperate. Anything in particular you're after?

Have you tried Pak N Save RainbowLoom? There is a huge newish one in Wairau Road (North Shore), and I'm sure there must be some of them to the south of the Harbour Bridge too. Not as big as Costco though

I second runaway for The Warehouse being the closest thing to Target. Some of the Farmers stores are pretty big too, but not as comprehensive as The Warehouse.
