Anyone here ever lived in or know much about Oregon?

DH will be doing a work exchange type thing with a golf course over there which could lead to a job - it is in Bandon-by-the-sea. Anyone know anything about the area? Thanks

Only ever driven through Oregon to get to Seattle, and then on to Idaho. Its very pretty though, lots of trees, sorry i can't be of more help I know more about northern California, Washington and Idaho. good luck

I have looked it up on the internet and the stretch of coast we would be staying on looks beautiful I just wondered if anyone on here had any info on what life is really like there - dont suppose it would differ too much from North California as it is towards the South of Oregon?
