Moving to Singapore - insights on Chatsworth School and living in Balmoral

Hi all! We are about to move our family to Singapore (kids are nearly 6 and 3). After a week visiting schools and condos, we are looking at Chatsworth and considering living in the pretty new Goodwood Residences in Balmoral.

Does anyone have any recent experiences of either Chatsworth or living in the Goodwood/Balmoral areas?

Thanks x

Hi there, we live very close to Balmoral and we love living here. I can walk to Orchard Rd in about 25 mins and very close to Newton MRT and hawker centre. You feel very central and close to everything and you also have a cold storage across the road and a couple of places to eat at Balmoral plaza. Feel free to pm if you have any questions or when you get here as I am literally up the road. No experience of chatsworth I'm afraid. Good luck with your move!

Balmoral is very central, good choice.
Did you see chatsworth, my impression 3 years ago is that it was quite dilapidated and I know for sure parents were very concerned about high staff turnover due to bad management.

Friends have had children at Chatsworth on the East Coast and the children enjoyed it (friends had some mixed feelings about management etc but were mostly ok with it). The school in town does a look a bit run down, little land and overcrowded but haven't heard anything really bad about it.
