I we are thinking of moving to Italy south where my husband has a home... but there are so many reasons I'm not sure about and concerns I have for my son's 4 years old and 2 years old. Is it the right decision for their future. .. has anyone made a decision like this if so can I have your opinions and was it the right decision or not....

I have lived in Italy but in the north. It is a harder country to live than here - more bureaucracy for a start. But the lifestyle was wonderful. The south is not the north though. Do you know it well? Is your husband Italian? In terms of learning another language, it would be great for the kids but Italy is not so switched on with things to do with children (ball parks etc) but of course v child friendly in restaurants, shops. I wonder how easily you will settle but if you speak Italian or find some expats then I'm sure you will. We found the Italians to be enormously welcoming and are still in touch now with many of the friends we made there.
