A member of our sister site Gransnet is missing in the French Alps. Herself and her car have yet to be found.

There are many ways in which you could help - details of the case and of how to raise awareness on facebook, twitter etc can be found on the Gransnet thread here

A mumsnet thread also exists and I shall link to it in my next post.

Here's a post by magimedi

"Carol's daughter (am copying from a French interest forum that Carol is a member of) has asked:

"if any of you can write fairly good French, please to write to

[email protected]

to ask them to write an article in local press, + local radio and tv, re Carol. Please help if you can."

Any good French speakers out there?"

Just gently bumping this.

Carol is an amazing woman - many of us are worried sick.

The local paper online; Le Dauphiné Liberé has an article about this missing woman. I do hope she is found soon as temperatures are forecast to drop tonight and snow falls to 1000m. Thoughts are with her and her family.

Thanks, mumofthreeteens.

Sorry, I've just seen you need me to write directly to french local media. I'll get onto it in an hour once I've put kids to bed. Let me know if there's anything else I can do

PsammeadPaintedTheLion · 04/11/2013 08:32
