Is there much for kids to do? Is it cheaper than UK or about the same?
I know there is a Muscat Mums FB group but DH says I cant shout on FB yet as few things need to be tied up with his work, people told etc. Anyone here in that group?
Its not my first time in the Middle East as I met DH in Saudi.. but I left for there a single girl under 30 and came back married and massively pregnant (5yrs later). So, any tips for shifting countries with little ones would be appreciated. We have 2 girls, almost 17m and 3yrs.
Oh yes, and we will prob try for a third baby when there..ship baby clothes etc or is that silly??
TIA

You can buy just about everything there for children. Mothercare, Babyshop, Pumpkin Patch etc, lots of choice.

I love Muscat and would happily move there (am in UAE). Here there are so many local FB groups with people selling stuff, including baby and children's things and pretty sure it would be the same in Oman. With people always coming and going there is always lot of people selling things.

Not much more to add, but am envious!

Oops, would love to know if there are classes for kids - my eldest is desperate to start a ballet class but it would be silly to start one now..

I'm pretty sure you would be able to find ballet classes, my DD took up Irish dancing. There are plenty of things going on.
