Talk to me about moving back "home"

I am about to move into a new country - again. It is a permanent position. Now that I know that the move is imminent, I started appreciating all the things that are really, really well here. My biggest scare is that there will be no coming back when I am on my forties or at least finding a job would be next to impossible. Please do tell me your reassuring stories of returning home after years abroad. It took me a couple of years to rebuild my life after the last move. I was then lucky to be sent here by my employer so didn't have to worry about finding a job. But now I am panicking a bit and really need to hear that should things now work out I can come back!

Hi america, I don't have any experience of this although I do live abroad at the moment, but just wanted to say it is never too late to come back if things don't work out. Yes it may take time but you've already experienced this which will make it easier.
Maybe will come along with more help soon. All the best in your new job!
