Initial temporary accommodation - Zurich

Hi!
We are relocating to Zurich in October, does anyone have any tips for places to stay initially while we are looking for a 'home'?
When we came to Sydney we stayed in a serviced apartment for a few weeks which was perfect, but I can't seem to find anything reasonable in Zurich, any tips?

Try looking for temp apartments outside the city centre, say oerlikon or thalwil. Easy to get into town and cheaper, plus lots of expats

Unless you speak good Germand I'd consider getting a relocation agent to sort something temporary out for you and help you find a place and do the paperwork when you arrive. Your employer might have links to a firm. Or you could try property wanted on englishforum.ch or ums.ch to see if anyone wants to sublet their place in October.
